If you want to do well at Mafia Wars then you will need to know how to win the fights as this is a crucial part of game play.
In fact as with the real Mafia you will make the fastest progress if you can beat your peers and rival players.

When you first start the game it can be frustating to say the least to be on a losing streak.

So here are 3 golden rules that you can follow to make sure that you win fights on Mafia Wars:

1. If You Are New Don’t Fight!

Until you build up your Mafia it is not a good idea to start fighting straight away, do some jobs first and build up your energy and money. Also no other families will attack you at this stage so it is a good time to learn the game without having to worry about being destroyed!

2. Get A Good Team! Recruit Only the Best!

This is the main thing in Mafia Wars and also one of the harder things to get to grips with. You need to build a big team and the best way you should do this is frequent some of the forums and ask some of the higher level players to join as if you get just a few high level players on your team you will really notice a difference!

3. Get Some Good Defenses In Place!

As you go through the game don’t forget to keep your defences up, most people forget about this make sure you get lots of defensive items such as prop planes and bodyguards.
