Can You Give Me Some Hints On ‘mafia Wars’?

I keep getting my *ss kicked in fights. I don’t have a big mafia. Any small tips would be helpful. Thanks.

Join a protection clan. I guess that’s the only small tip I can think of.
Changing your title won’t do anything. Even getting the best loot won’t help if you can’t max out your mafia. Banking doesn’t matter either. (All of those are Zynga suggestions)
SIN (Strength in Numbers) is a large clan. I also believe they are a protection clan. If not, they might be able to direct you to one that is.
