You don’t want to post one of these messages yourself, however.  Instead, invite all of the players who’ve posted recruitment messages to join your mafia.  These are the most serious players and will likely prove to be your most valued allies.  Just be sure to send them a private message and mention Mafia Wars in it.  Many people won’t pay attention to a message from someone they don’t know unless they know it’s for the game.

Well, i had to do something about that. I did alot of research on the internet for some tips and strategies . I found nothing that could help me. All i found was was fluff pieces and even wrong advice that did not help much.

Yes, most of the advice that is freely available on the net is completely wrong.

The main problem is, most tips want you to spend hours and hours in front of the PC. A full time worker like me dont have that kind of time

You dont want to be attacked ruthlessly by a jerk who outranks you, just because you are weak and then you spend all your time and money trying to gain back your depleted energy and money.

The other problem I encountered with the game is the fact that you need a lot of time on your hands to really get your game going. You need to work, work, work and take a lot of jobs to make very little money. This also takes a lot of time to wait for energy to replenish.
